Unrequited SummerMy dreams shattered into billons of particles, and fell to the ground, small specks of golden sand, as I thought of my eventual departure. I buried my toes in my dreams, allowing the baked particles to send warm flashes across my own body, and when the warmth mixed with the coldness of my emotions, I shivered, which shook a few more grains of dreams and shells to fall to the ground in a shower of gold. I watched the shower fall, and I thought of the dank underground in a flash of school learning, before I turned my attention to my furious lover. The ocean roared; mighty Poseidon rose in full majesty, before crashing to the ground in a submissUnrequited Summer

The JellyfishThe child crouched next to the amorphous blob of slick gelatin-substance. She was mesmerized by the substances movement. She placed her hand into the gel. The pudgy, palm pressed against the sleek creature on the ground, in an attempt to rid the globule of structure. The pile indented, but never lost form. My gluttonous actions provided me the ultimate comfort of the pure sugar. I wanted to stop eating; I knew the calories packed onto the cone, which was now being crushed by my clutched hand, would stay, once they entered my body, as fat on my already moBlue Stickiness

Color SketchThe rage built inside of me; tossing and turning, it moved through my whole form, causing my steps to fall against the brick sidewalk in boisterous stomping movements. My feet were beginning to ache with the effort of my new walking, as my heels kept slipping between the crimson cracks on the uneven surface. The awkwardness in my steps forced my arches to stretch and twist into un-comfort. The pain shot up my leg, darting up my shins in blistering flashes of light, sunburn-on-my-skin pink. I ignored the uncomfortable feeling, as I pressed the door open to my destination.Color Sketch
